As a product of holistic medicine experiencing firsthand in her own life how wonderful natural medicine can be. After graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Political Science from UC Santa Cruz she realized her life’s calling was about helping others. This drive to serve is what ultimately compelled her to obtain a Masters of Traditional Chinese Medicine and obtain an acupuncture license from the California State Board of Acupuncture.
In 2007 she worked as an acupuncturist in the Pain Management Department at the Simms/Mann Health and Wellness Center, gaining a real passion for helping relieve the pain of others.Margot also found that working alongside medical doctors, osteopaths, chiropractors, and psychologists in an integrative setting was both highly educational and of tremendous value to patient care.
In 2010 she began working in the substance abuse and mental health field at numerous treatment centers in Los Angeles and Malibu developing a real passion for helping people move through physical and emotional imbalances and barriers associated with mental health and recovery.
Margot conducts a comprehensive assessment with each client that results in a truly individualized wellness and nutritional plan. Examples of recommended modalities include acupuncture, breathwork, chiropractic care, cupping, hiking, float tanks, massage, meditation, nutritional healing, sound bath and yoga.
